The Jeweler’s Bench/ Advanced Metal Techniques/ Fall Series 2025
This fall the Jeweler’s Bench will consist of (2) six-week sections dealing with different metal techniques. Each section is offered as a stand-alone course. Students can take one or both sessions or opt out and use the studio working on their own projects.
Session 2:
Hydraulic Die Forming: I will cover the varied uses of the press for jewelry and metal working. Areas covered are pillow dies, embossing dies and blanking dies for the small studio production work. The pillow die will be used to make a hollow form in class.
