A three (3) day workshop
Friday, April 12 – Sunday, Apil 14
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
In this 3-day workshop we will explore the figure and the process of abstraction. During the morning sessions we will work directly from the figure, with an emphasis on proportion, physical structure, tonality, and gesture, in both drawing and painting. In the afternoons we will take our morning session works and use them as source material for an abstract painting of medium size, exploring experimentation, paint-handling, accident, composition, color, marking, and play! Improvisation and uncertainty! Always a blast.
Tuition includes model fee.
