This six-session workshop is designed for students who wish to explore the art of collagraph. Textured collages will be made, sealed, inked, and transformed into a printed image. No prior experience with collage or printing is necessary since this workshop is designed to meet the student at their level of experience.
• Students will learn how to construct a textured collage which can be successfully printed.
• Students will learn how to print their collages either as an intaglio print or a relief print.
• Students will produce work that can form the basis for mixed media Images.
• Students will learn how to enhance their initial printed collages through the addition of selected Monoprinting and Frottage techniques.
