w/ Candy Stringer
Mondays, 4:30pm – 6:00pm
(NO class 2/19)
The classic craft of knitting & crochet encourages creative thinking and problem solving. It strengthens fine motor skills and is an early introduction to more advanced fiber arts skills.
We will explore the cultural connections of weaving, a craft form that combines artistic expression with math. Students will work with a variety of natural and synthetic fibers on traditional cardboard looms with plastic needles. All materials are included and supplied by Wayne Art Center.
This is an 8-week, 1.5 hour, after-school class on Mondays.
