Tick Tock, Create a Clock Stoneware Workshop

Join Karen Sacks for a fun workshop where you’ll design and craft your very own clock from stoneware clay! This two-part hands-on workshop is perfect for people of all skill levels, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced potter looking to explore new techniques.

Bring your own clock mechanism. Clock mechanisms will not be provided but will be discussed to help you personalize your clock.

Week One: Sunday, June 8, 10am – 3pm

As you work on your clock, you’ll receive guidance on various decorative techniques, such as carving, sprigging, and texturing, to bring your vision to life.

Week Two: Sunday, June 22, 10am – 1pm

You will learn how to apply colorful underglazes and glazes to further enhance your piece. Additionally, you’ll discover how to assemble the clock’s mechanism kit, ensuring your creation will keep time while standing out as a beautiful piece you can be proud of.
