An Exhibition of Works by Radnor Township Artists

Wayne Art Center is pleased to present Expressions of Radnor 2024, an annual exhibition of artwork created by Radnor Township residents 18+ across a wide range of artistic mediums and perspectives.

Claire Haik serves as Juror of Awards for Expressions of Radnor 2024.

Claire Haik explores the hidden processes existing beneath the visual exterior in nature. She paints in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, and locally sourced hand crushed pigments. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts with a Master’s degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She was awarded the Lois and Charles X Carlson Landscape Residency and the Experience Economies: Landscape Experience Residency at Mildred’s Lane. Her work has been shown at galleries throughout the Northeast. She routinely teaches at Wayne Art Center, Historic Yellow Springs Art Center, and Kean University.

Juror’s Statement

“It was an immense privilege to be the juror for this exhibition showcasing the remarkable artistic talent within Radnor Township. As I immersed myself in the artwork, I was struck by the variety of voices and artistic spirits on display. The work in this exhibition showcases an array of different media, styles, and subjects, all with their unique perspectives and approaches, making the selection process deeply challenging. To each and every artist who participated, I express my heartfelt gratitude for sharing your work with me. This show truly reflects the vibrant artistic roots in this community.”  –Claire Haik
