The 5 Bs: Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Bats & Bugs

March 29 – May 2, 2015

Wayne Art Center and Bird Town, Pennsylvania, the working partner of the Audubon Society, will be collaborating on an exhibition featuring works depicting birds, bats, bees, butterflies and other insects. The show will include two and three-dimensional works that will be showcased inside and outdoors at the Wayne Art Center from Sunday, March 29 through Saturday, May 2, 2015. The exhibition of paintings, drawings, prints, special media, as well as ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, fiber and glass will be on display in the Davenport Gallery. Outdoor sculpture will be installed in the gardens of the Wayne Art Center. ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY
Painting, photography, indoor and outdoor sculpture, works on paper, mixed media, fiber, glass, ceramics, printmaking and jewelry are eligible. Work must be recent and not displayed previously at the Wayne Art Center. Artists may submit up to 3 images. All 2-dimensional works must be framed and wired for hanging unless a wrapped canvas is used. All work must be labeled on the back with labels provided at the intake.
Birdtown Pa and the Wayne Art Center reserve to reject work that is damaged, or poorly prepared. Accepted work must remain for the duration of the exhibition.
