The Journey of Life
September 17 – October 15, 2011
The Philadelphia Arts Connection (PAC) is a network of Korean American artists residing in the greater Philadelphia and New York areas. Established in the fall of 2010, the group is comprised of twelve artists. The artists come from diverse careers and backgrounds but all are passionate about their art. Their works include various mediums, from oil on canvas, to watercolor, acrylics and sculpture. Since the group’s inception, the members meet on a monthly basis to exchange and generate ideas for their work. Additionally, trips to Philadelphia and New York museums and their multitude of galleries further influence and energize this group. Most importantly, the group was formed to support, encourage and inspire one another. “The Journey of Life”, PAC’s first exhibition, featuring paintings and sculptures, will be on exhibit at the Wayne Art Center from September 17th through October 15th, 2011. The opening reception will take place at the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery on Saturday, September 17th, from 4-6 pm. PAC would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Wayne Art Center for hosting its first exhibition with a special thanks to Ms. Nancy Campbell, Executive Director and Ms. Karen Louise Fay, Director of Special Projects, for their unwavering support.Top of page: Alice K.
