Co-sponsored by Radnor Historical Society, Wayne Art Center and Radnor Township School District
February 15 – March 12, 2016
“What I try to do is make a statement. You have to believe in what you say. If it doesn’t make a statement, it says nothing.”
Dolya Goutman
Dolya Goutman was the founder of the Rosemont Collection of Art because he believed that children should grow up with good, original art.
Today, the Rosemont Collection of Art continues to belong to the Radnor Township School District. Goutman, himself, was the first curator of the collection and maintained the art work and presented many assemblies in Radnor Township schools for over twenty years. All of the art work has been donated and includes work by well-known American and European artists.
This exhibition is the first time that artwork from the Rosemont Collection has been displayed in a gallery setting. The show will be on exhibit from February 15 – March 12, 2016, with an Opening Reception from 3:00 – 5:00pm on February 21. The reception is free to the public and refreshments will be served.
