When Is a Placemat Not a Placemat?

In October 2017, Becky Nutall came to the Tuesday evening Slab to Fab class with a new texture.  Little did she realize her gem of a find would inspire almost all of the handbuilders of Wayne Art Center to create close to 100 pieces using the placemat as the basis of their designs.
